Moon Over Boston: Pentax K-5, Pentax DA* 16-50mm f/2.8

Please click on the images to see larger versions. I’m in Boston this week, attending a conference.  For the first few days, it seemed as though I brought the Seattle weather with me.  However, yesterday evening was beautiful, and I photographed the city’s skyline and some areas of the nearby MIT campus.  I hope you enjoy the images.

Justin: Mahesh, Great pictures from Boston. In the first picture you note having used the DA* 18-50 f/2.8 lens. Which lens is this? I'm not familiar with it. Again, great shots...you really know how to use that wide angle!

Mahesh: Justin, thanks! My mistake. The lens is DA* 16-50 (not 18-50). I've made the correction.

Kalpana: beautiful!

David Guidas: Great shots all around. I really like the color in the second boat photo and the composition of the "Boston Evening" dock shot. Well done!

Steve: Having grown up in one of the Boston suburbs, I'm embarrassed to say that I never knew it was so beautiful. Great pictures

Rachael: The headstone shots are really great! I also love the 2 boat and dock shots. I can smell the baked beans now.
