This morning I shot the sunrise with a few friends at Tipsoo Lake, one of my absolute favorite destinations for early light.  It’s a place photographed countless times by countless photographers.  It’s a classic after all!  That shouldn’t stop you from shooting it.  Go ahead, get the clean reflection image with Rainier standing in the distant.  However, look around and try to get something different too, a shot you may not have seen before.  This morning, I stepped back a bit from the lake and discovered this compositionally lovely view.  I’m sure some people out there have shot this, but it was new to me, and I was excited to have discovered it.
