Late Light on Bruno Dunes

On Top of Bruno Dunes: Leica M9-P, Leica Elmarit ASPH 28mm f/2.8

Cindy and I are visiting our dear friends in Nampa, ID this holiday weekend.  Yesterday, we went to Bruno Dunes State Park.  The light was beautiful, and I decided to trek to the top of the dunes.  Here are a few images from my little adventure.  I hope you enjoy ’em.

Beautiful stuff. Great clouds and water in your initial color photo. Loved the ripples in the sand on the B&W images. My pix are usually ruined with footprints in the sand, so good job getting these clear views.

I absolutely LOVE lines in the sand! It’s both eerie and stunning. Are there snakes slithering by?

Beautiful black and white work and really does accentuate the character of the dunes.

The tones in all of these are staggeringly beautiful, almost disarmingly so. The third and first images in particular do it for me.
